June 26 @ 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
Join us for our Q2 Luncheon
DATE: Thursday, June 26, 2026
TIME: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
LOCATION: Fogo de Chao, 1513 Wynkoop St. Denver, CO 80202
SPEAKERS: COGA – Lynn Granger (President & CEO) & Ryan Steadley (VP of Regulatory Affairs)
TOPIC: Understanding Future Gas Regulation Impacts with the 2026 Governor Race and the Expiration of O&G Moratorium in 2030
DESCRIPTION: Natural gas (NG) engines are a critical component of the energy sector, offering a cleaner alternative to traditional fuels. However, methane emissions remain a challenge. Methane slip from internal combustion engines is relatively high owing to its low reactivity relative to other hydrocarbon fuels. Methane leakage from compressor packing vents, blow-downs, and other sources are also problematic. The focus of this talk is on engine compressor sets and integral compressors, with an emphasis on lean burn engines. The sources of methane emissions are reviewed, followed by a discussion of mitigation approaches.
